Come and give basketball a go!

Port Macquarie Basketball Association, in partnership with Basketball NSW, is excited to bring the Our Mob Our Game (OMOG) program to Port Macquarie.

Our Mob Our Game is a FREE basketball experience for boys and girls aged 7–14 years.

Everyone is welcome.

Whether you've never picked up a basketball before, have recently started playing, or already play and simply want another opportunity to get on court, we'd love to have you involved.

No experience is required. Just come along, get involved and have fun.

New to basketball? This is a great place to start.

Our coaches will take participants through a fun mix of basketball activities including:

• Dribbling, passing and shooting
• Basketball skills and challenges
• Team activities
• Small-sided games
• Plenty of opportunities to play

The focus is on having fun, building confidence, learning new skills and enjoying basketball with your mates.

Our second Our Mob Our Game session gives participants another opportunity to get on court, play some basketball and put their skills into action.

We'll have coaches there to help everyone get involved, with plenty of games and activities designed to make the session enjoyable for players of different ages and experience levels.

You can attend either session or both.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Everyone is welcome.

Our Port Macquarie sessions are open to boys and girls aged 7–14 years.

Never played basketball? Perfect.

Recently started? Come along.

Already play basketball? You're welcome too.

You don't need to be a PMBA member or currently play in one of our competitions.

Bring a friend, bring your brother or sister, or simply come along yourself and meet some new people.

PLAY. LEARN. HAVE FUN.

Our Mob Our Game is about getting young people on court, being active and enjoying basketball in a positive, inclusive and welcoming environment.

There is no pressure and no expectation that you already know how to play.

Our coaches will help participants learn the basics, develop their skills, play games and most importantly have fun being part of basketball.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Wear comfortable sports clothes and suitable shoes and bring a water bottle.

We'll provide the basketballs — you just need to come ready to play and have some fun.

Both sessions are completely FREE, but registration is essential.
