Development Programs in partnership with the Port Macquarie PCYC From Term 1, 2025 our development programs will be run in partnership with the PCYC - a new central location and opportunities to join other PCYC events while learning all the skills in the approved Basketball Australia training program!  Ford Aussie Hoops - Ages 5-9 Thursday afternoon, 4:00 - 5:00 pm  - PCYC, Owen Street, Port Macquarie   Weekly sessions during a school term.  Registration $110 for the Term plus a $15 PCYC membership payable directly to the venue. Aussie Hoops is a national program providing boys and girls with a fun and safe basketball experience that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game. Aussie Hoops promotes a healthy and active lifestyle and serves as a platform for social development and inclusion - fostering stronger and more vibrant communities and individuals.   LITTLE DRIBBLERS IS BACK FOR TERM 3! Looking for the perfect way to introduce your little one to basketball? Our Little Dribblers program is back for Term 3, providing a fun, active and engaging introduction to basketball for children aged 3–5 years. Through games, movement and basketball-based activities, children will develop coordination, confidence and fundamental motor skills in a safe, supportive and fun environment. Whether they're picking up a basketball for the first time or simply love to run, jump and play, Little Dribblers is the perfect Saturday morning activity. SEASIDE CLASSIC RETURNS THIS NOVEMBER! The Port Macquarie Basketball Association is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Seaside Classic. Join us in beautiful Port Macquarie for a fantastic weekend of representative basketball while enjoying everything the Mid North Coast has to offer – Surf, Sun, Sand and Basketball! The Seaside Classic is one of the region's premier odd-age representative tournaments, attracting quality teams from across NSW in a fun, competitive and well-run event. Tournament Details Dates: Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 November 2026 Location: Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium Age Groups: Odd-age representative teams Team Nomination: $540 per team Guaranteed: Minimum of three games Important Information Limited places available in each division. A maximum of two teams per age group from each association may be accepted (subject to nominations). Divisions may close before the nomination deadline once full, so early entries are encouraged. Referees Each team is requested to provide a referee. Referees will be paid $25 per game. Teams unable to supply a referee will incur an additional $100 referee levy. Nominations Close Sunday 27 September 2026 Completed nomination forms and payment must be received by the closing date. Late nominations may not be accepted.
