SEASIDE CLASSIC RETURNS THIS NOVEMBER! The Port Macquarie Basketball Association is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Seaside Classic. Join us in beautiful Port Macquarie for a fantastic weekend of representative basketball while enjoying everything the Mid North Coast has to offer – Surf, Sun, Sand and Basketball! The Seaside Classic is one of the region's premier odd-age representative tournaments, attracting quality teams from across NSW in a fun, competitive and well-run event. Tournament Details Dates: Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 November 2026 Location: Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium Age Groups: Odd-age representative teams Team Nomination: $540 per team Guaranteed: Minimum of three games Important Information Limited places available in each division. A maximum of two teams per age group from each association may be accepted (subject to nominations). Divisions may close before the nomination deadline once full, so early entries are encouraged. Referees Each team is requested to provide a referee. Referees will be paid $25 per game. Teams unable to supply a referee will incur an additional $100 referee levy. Nominations Close Sunday 27 September 2026 Completed nomination forms and payment must be received by the closing date. Late nominations may not be accepted. The Prep 4 Rep Program is designed for: Current Port Dolphins Representative Players Domestic players aspiring to trial for representative basketball Committed domestic players looking to improve their game and prepare for future representative opportunities We strongly encourage all current Port Dolphins representative players to participate in Prep 4 Rep. While attendance is not compulsory, the program provides coaches with an opportunity to observe players in a representative training environment prior to trials. Where players are otherwise evenly matched throughout the selection process, participation in Prep 4 Rep may be viewed favourably. The program is also open to domestic players looking to challenge themselves and improve their game. Sessions are designed for players with an established understanding of basketball fundamentals and representative aspirations. They are not intended for beginners, although younger players demonstrating appropriate skill and enthusiasm are encouraged to participate. Why Attend?
