Basketball Connect
PMBA is making a transition to a new operating platform for our registrations and competition as of September 2024.
The ‘Basketball Connect’ platform, brought to us by World Sport Action, has been endorsed by Basketball NSW on a 3-year partnership as the official competition management solution for Basketball in NSW. As an affiliated member of Basketball NSW, Port Macquarie Basketball Association has begun rolling over all of our competitions, programs and links to the new platform.
Basketball Connect provides an improved user experience for players / parents, coaches and administrators, as it helps to streamline processes and enhance the overall user engagement experience.
What to expect with Basketball Connect
The Basketball Connect platform includes a user friendly app that will allow members to quickly check their fixtures, results and stats. The app is available on both Apple Store and Android, providing a range of features to simplify being part of PMBA. Find the App user guide here.
The Basketball Connect match day app offer members:

Automated notifications if matches are postponed, cancelled, moved or forfeited.

Notifications, email and the news feature will make it easy for PMBA to communicate and you to keep up to date with all the latest basketball news.

In-app chat function which can be used by administrators, coaches, and team managers, making it easier to communicate with your local competition teammates.

Electronic match day player sign-on.

Ability for coaches and team managers to organise training, team events and other activities in app.

Player availability – players can quickly indicate their availability for matches and training.

Detailed stats and draws – real time match and player statistics, draw and ladder standings.

Real-time incident tracking; and

Easy to find matches with Google locations.
Registering with Basketball Connect
Whether you are registering as a new or current financial member - the first time you use the system select the new user option.

If you are currently playing in our competition and a financial member your profile details from Game Day have been imported into Basketball Connect.

Once you have entered player details such as name, mobile, email and date of birth you will be prompted to ‘claim’ your profile in Basketball Connect.

You will be asked to verify that the link is correct.

PMBA understand that transitioning to a new platform may come with challenges and we are committed to working with members to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Speak to our Registrar and Competitions Coordinator to get assistance with signing up in Basketball Connect for the Summer Comp.
