Port Macquarie Basketball Association offers inclusive programs and competitions for all ages, from toddlers to retirees. 

Little Dribblers - Ages 3-6

Saturday mornings 9:00- 10:00am Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium 

• This Program runs for approximately 6 weeks during a term, pending court availability. 
• Cost $60, plus Basketball NSW registration if currently unregistered. 
• Our Little Dribblers love playing basketball on hoops just their size with soft balls made especially for them. Boys and girls ages 3-6 enjoy running and playing like the big kids.

Development Programs in partnership with the Port Macquarie PCYC

From Term 1, 2025 our development programs will be run in partnership with the PCYC - a new central location and opportunities to join other PCYC events while learning all the skills in the approved Basketball Australia training program! 

Ford Aussie Hoops - Ages 5-9

Thursday afternoon, 4:00 - 5:00 pm  - PCYC, Owen Street, Port Macquarie  

• Weekly sessions during a school term. 
• Registration $110 for the Term plus a $15 PCYC membership payable directly to the venue.
• Aussie Hoops is a national program providing boys and girls with a fun and safe basketball experience that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game.
• Aussie Hoops promotes a healthy and active lifestyle and serves as a platform for social development and inclusion - fostering stronger and more vibrant communities and individuals.

Intro to Basketball D-LEAGUE

Thursday afternoon, 5:00 to 6:30 pm - PCYC, Owen Street, Port Macquarie

• Age: 8-13 years old
• Fees: $135 per term PLUS PCYC membership (if not held already)

Junior Competition - ages 10 and up

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon/evening

When you're ready to play, our afternoon/evening competitions are:

U10s and U12s play on Friday,

U14s play Monday,

U16s and U18s play on Wednesday.
