The Port Dolphins Prep 4 Rep Program has been developed to prepare players for the upcoming 2027 Junior Representative Trials and is the first stage of our Representative Pathway.
Whether you're aiming to represent the Port Dolphins for the first time or returning for another representative season, Prep 4 Rep provides a structured development program designed to improve your skills, confidence and understanding of what is expected at representative level.
The program combines three Thursday evening development sessions with two Prep Intensives during the school holidays, providing players with quality coaching in a competitive training environment leading directly into the representative trial process.

Who Should Attend?
The Prep 4 Rep Program is designed for:
- Current Port Dolphins Representative Players
- Domestic players aspiring to trial for representative basketball
- Committed domestic players looking to improve their game and prepare for future representative opportunities
We strongly encourage all current Port Dolphins representative players to participate in Prep 4 Rep.
While attendance is not compulsory, the program provides coaches with an opportunity to observe players in a representative training environment prior to trials. Where players are otherwise evenly matched throughout the selection process, participation in Prep 4 Rep may be viewed favourably.
The program is also open to domestic players looking to challenge themselves and improve their game. Sessions are designed for players with an established understanding of basketball fundamentals and representative aspirations. They are not intended for beginners, although younger players demonstrating appropriate skill and enthusiasm are encouraged to participate.
